photos of the weekend

Photos taken this weekend were either beauty or the beast. Well the beasts are beautiful also. I took these at the Botanical Gardens in Washington DC, and think they speak for themselves.

Oh wait, the last one was taken on the kitchen table.
They are parrot tulips brought for a Happy Thursday.

The next photos were taken early Saturday morning, as the mist
was coming off the water and the sun was just reflecting to
make the mirror images. Mercury in this first photo
was posing and he didn't even know it.
The others are variations of that same
hour of quiet before the world wakes up.

This one is a 'Mommy has a Treat' photo.

And yes, Mercury, King of the world, loves to pose!!

What wonderful photos of a peaceful looking weekend.

The flowers are gorgeous (I LOVE happy-Thursday-just-because flowers!) and the dogs are just as beautiful. :o)

I was wondering where you were this weekend, now I know:) Looks like you and the dogs had a peaceful get away.
Aren't orchids just amazing? God had fun when He created those. And I love being by the water when it is misty and quiet. I got a great idea from you and the Happy-Thursday-just because flowers. This will be my new treat to myself from now on. Will make me think of you too.:) Have a wonderful week.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

I felt like I got a lot of toxins out of my body this weekend. It was nice.

The new camera is the Canon rebel xti, the coke to your pepsi Nikon. Or the Mc'd's to my BK. I love it and am learning more everyday of what it can do.

Happy thursday just because flowers are a new tradition here also.

Niiiiiiice. :o) I too continue to learn more every day. I KNOW I should read the manual, but I HATE to read those things... But, *if* I read it, I would learn even more quickly. :sigh:
