A young Jim, early in our marriage. The pic on the left is my all time favorite of him. We were at my dad's farm, it was a warm sunny summer day and all was right with the world.

A journey of grief - losing a soulmate and the path to emotional stability. This is a daily journal of thoughts, sadness, bewilderment, joy, frustration and pain as a therapeutic way to express and release. Please feel free to comment, because then I know someone is out there. And that also helps.

Betsy...beautiful pics of Jim!
heartfelt poem....
just to be clear for anyone reading the comments about what I posted below...
when I said "Let it go" I did not mean your grief. I meant chores you are not ready to do, and that don't have to be done yet....you are on no one's schedule. Grief will go at its own pace which is something only you can experience in your own way.
I send you hugs and support...not advice. I just want you to be gentle with yourself.
my best to you...
Carol
I was just checking in to see how you are doing. Very nice poem.
As was said, take care of the paperwork type stuff that needs to be done, but do the other stuff a little at at time, whenever you feel like it.
