Found our Wedding Vows today while going thru papers. Boy did the tears flow for this. A folder with all our wedding notes. In Jim's handwriting - what songs to be played, what order people were to go down the aisle and where guests were to sit. Did I mention that he and my Mom put this together? I had very little input. I did come up with the vows we spoke to each other. I think these were drafts. I just can't remember which of these we actually said. I haven't gotten up the nerve to watch the wedding video - but got to get it on dvd soon. What a wonderful day of love that was and I am so glad it continued thru the years, with the last hours of Jim's day being with me and being happy together.
1 Corinthians 13
Love...is patient and kind; love is not jealous or conceited, or proud or provoked. Love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is pleased with the truth. Love never gives up, its faith, hope and patience never fail.
How Beautiful life can be when Touched by Love
Now we will feel no rain, for each of us will be shelter for the other.
Now we will feel no cold, for each of us will be warmth to the other.
Now we are two persons, but there is only one life between us.
Let us go now to enter into these days of our lives together.
This day I will marry my best friend, the one I will laugh with, live for and love always.
Two lives, two hearts joined together in friendship, united forever in love.

Your love of Jim is clear. Reading your vows, or passages, reminds me of the love that Ed and I share. I mourn for you. Losing your love and best friend must be overwhelming. I have lost my mom, dad, sister, and mother-in-law in a short period of time, and makes me worry about losing Ed. I'm so sorry for your loss.
